Trovare

I was contacted by a client who wanted to have a central place for her travel expertise. She needed a brand built around her existing logo and her love for adventures. The site needed to be accessible to make basic updates and posts without the need for a developer.

I started off designing low-fidelity wireframes to plan the site’s structure and functionality. The client wanted a simple, clean, modern styled design, while simulating a classic 2010’s blog site. I used a very simple colour palette and fonts that were tuned to that classic feel. Custom post types and advanced custom fields were built to accommodate the multiple post types including: standard blog posts, “Hidden Gems”, Travel Items, and Free Downloads. The site was built mobile friendly and best practices were followed for a fast website. It pushed my knowledge of the power of combining WordPress, Elementor, and minimal plugins.

The client was very happy with the branding, the site’s design, and the advanced functionality that was user friendly.
